Our standard delivery times for both Tracked & Un-tracked are
UK 3-4 days* Europe 4-5 days* Rest of World 7-10 days*
* working days & delivery may take longer if you are sending to outlying areas of the UK or remote locations outside of the UK
If you have selected a “Tracked” service, you will be able to follow the progress of your parcel at various stages, from dispatch to delivery, through our website using the code on your receipt. It doesn’t matter who the carrier is, we will update the parcel status and in all instances you will be able to see when it has been delivered. Your receipt contains the unique parcel number for every parcel sent, so it important that you keep this for both the confirmation of dispatch and the individual parcel numbers.
When you enter your parcel number and the Recipient’s Post/Zip code, both the supplier and the latest delivery status will be displayed.
Price Comparisons & Possible savings
Our price comparison are indicative only and due to the variety of postal services available, customers should check other websites to make a valued judgment. The comparisons are based on the following:
Untracked items up to 2kg we compare our prices with Royal Mail 2nd class
Tracked items up to 2kg we compare our prices to Royal Mail 2nd class tracked
Tracked items 2kg – 15kg we compare our prices to Parcelforce Global Priority service
We use their standard price for the nearest comparable service and do not make comparisons with any promotional or volume prices that may be operated from time to time.
Comparisons are based on a parcel compensation value of £20
There may be further savings based on your parcel dimensions, but please check their websites for individual specific comparison.
We are able to accept parcel weights up to 15kg and with a maximum length of 1.2m in a single dimension (width, height or depth)
Items MUST fit on the scales. If we can weigh it we will send it…if we cannot we will be unable to accept the parcel.
Parcels need to be properly packaged to ensure a successful journey. If we discover an incorrectly packaged item we will contact you and arrange return.
Items sent which have been incorrectly processed (parcel sent as a letter) will be held and you will be contacted to pay the outstanding balance and any handling charges.
Remote Areas Surcharge
In line with all postal carriers we apply a Remote Area Surcharge for those areas where delivery is difficult and incurs additional costs. This is a standard fee of £18 per Tracked item irrespective of weight. It is postcode specific and our postal terminals will automatically advise you if the item is subject to a surcharge.
Untracked items under 2kg are not subject to the surcharge.
Delays and Non Receipt
If you selected a tracked parcel service you will be able to check if it has been successfully delivered through our web tracking service. For untracked parcels, you will not be able to track your parcels online so in the unusual event that the parcel is not delivered within the stated time periods please allow up to 14 days before contacting us as we may be attempting a re-delivery.
In the unlikely event of your parcel not being received 14 days after dispatch or it has been received damaged, please contact our Customer Help team by email email@example.com so that we can investigate further. We will need the parcel number, destination postcode and the service used (Untracked or Tracked) which is available from your receipt, so please quote this information when you email us to save any additional delays.
Claims for Loss or Damage
In the event of Parcels2Post agreeing to any Loss from non-receipt or damage, unless additional compensation insurance was purchased when the item was sent, our liability will be limited to £20 for any TRACKED item.
UN-TRACKED items will be limited to the cost of postage paid up to a maximum of £20
If the parcel is delayed, destroyed or refused by Customs because of restricted goods we will not be liable for any loss.
We will not pay any compensation when:
– you have sent prohibited items or restricted items
– there are inherent defects in the Goods
– you have inadequately packed or labelled the Goods
– you have been dishonest
– the Goods are fragile or made of glass.
We do not accept liability for damage to electrical or electronic equipment or data on electrical or electronic equipment including storage media.
